This sandstone patio had significantly sunk across about a third of its surface. To address the issue, we removed the affected slabs and sleepers, then rebuilt the area with proper reinforcements. We installed pins, secured in concrete, to anchor the sleepers in place. A stronger concrete base was laid before relaying the slabs to ensure long-term stability. To complete the project, we applied new pointing across the entire patio, effectively sealing it from water penetration.
